Solvent vapors abatement post-combustion

  • attention for environment: the important reduction of environmental impact is joined to energy production, with a consequent energy saving;
  • economic aspect: the compliance with the requirements for subsidised and non-repayable loan access are matched to the built a plant able to create income.

This Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer is operating since 1996 and is realized for BiesSse company, who's on the global market in technical tapes.

BiesSse reduce pollutant turning it into resource

This solution use all the airTReco 's technology&solution for this kind of plants. RTO is involved in the abatement of several solvents coming from the drying oven of adhesives, the two heat exchanger allow to recover and use the thermal energy coming from solvent burning, immediatelly used in production cycle

The result is a long term system able to purify air and produce income.

Using heat exchanger allows to convert heat coming from purification into energy, at zero-cost. Energetic use reduction brings not only immediate and touchable economic advantages but a great environmental benefit also, as required by legislations.

Air to diathermic oil exchanger

Usually, adhesives drying in the oven occurs using hot air stream heated thru diathermic oil batteries heated by a furnace. With this exchanger the furnace is no more needed, because the diathermi oil is heated at zero-cost recovering and using the huge ammount of energy released coming from the solvents combustion chamber of the RTO during the oxidation. The result is a substantial reduction of energetic consumption, of the costs and a benefit for the environmental impact. This exchanger has a max power of 1.400 Kw.

Air to water exchanger

But the ejected hot air in the stack still has enough energy for a secon recovery, so we installed a secondary exchanger, air to water kind; this recovered energy is used as ambient heating in the cold seasons. This exchanger has a max power of 850 Kw.
